Ayer vi finalmente ‘Bird on a Wire’, la película de Tony Palmer sobre la gira de Leonard Cohen de 1972, un documental formidable. Probablemente el que mejor refleja la magia y la miseria de una gira de cuantos he visto. Descubre también a un Cohen inseguro, brillante, paciente, emocionalmente agotado, flirteante, sensible, alienado y esencialmente bondadoso, en algunas escenas entre bambalinas que estoy seguro de que pasarán a la historia del documental musical. Da escalofríos pensar que se pudo haber perdido para siempre, el redescubrimiento de las cintas y su re-montaje se remonta a enero de este año.

La cuidada edición en dvd es una tirada independiente con distribución bastante escasa, yo lo compré en boomkat.com por 15 libras.
